TBM-3 Avenger
The Avenger was the most important carrier-based torpedo bomber on American and British carriers during WW2. They were also the biggest and heaviest carrier aircraft of the war. A total of 9,842 TBF/TBM Avengers were produced, the last of which was retired in 1954.
