This DC-3A (N33644, C/N: 4123) was originally delivered to United Airlines in 1941 as NC33644. It was diverted to the USAAF as a C-52C-DO (S/N 41-7701) but released to Western Air Lines (which had an inter-line arrangement with United) in 1942.
