This Spitfire FR Mk. XVIIIe was retrieved from India in the 1970s and was returned to England for a technical restoration by Historic Flying. After restoration in 1992 it was sold to Rudy Frasca from Urbana, Illinois in 1993. It has been based in Germany since 2015.
