The Stearman C3 was an American-built civil biplane aircraft of the 1920s, designed by Stearman Aircraft of Wichita, Kansas. It was the first Stearman aircraft to receive a type certificate. This Stearman C3B is marked as Western Air Express, C.A.M.12, NC8835, U.S. Air Mail, 208. It was manufactured in 1928 as Stearman serial number 241.
