Me 262 White 3

The five aircraft built here were "reverse engineered" from a captured Me 262 that the Navy had rotting as gate-guard display aircraft. In exchange for refurbishing the Navy's aircraft, the parts were copied and accurate replicas made with upgrades to the engines and avionics.

This Me 262 A/B-1c replica, White 3, is painted in the colors of Guido Mutkes’ aircraft. It first flew on 22 July 2011 at Paine Field.
