The Trent 1000 is a high bypass ratio turbofan engine that produces a maximum thrust of 53,000–75,000 lbf (240–330 kN). The Trent 1000 is the launch engine on both currently planned 787 models, the -8 with All Nippon Airways, and the -9 with Air New Zealand.
