Crusader Mark III Cruiser Tank

British cruisers were intended to be fast and mobile tanks that operated independently from the infantry. The Crusader Mk. III was the first British tank to carry a 6-pounder main gun, which allowed it to fight German armor in North Africa on fairly equal terms.
