Boeing 247D

The 247 was the first airliner able to climb on one engine at full-load, one of the first with supercharged engines, and the first with control trim-tabs and cabin air-conditioning.

Boeing 247D

The Boeing 247 had an all-metal stressed skin, low cantilevered wing, retractable undercarriage, twin engines mounted on the leading edge of the wing, and variable-pitch propellers.
