Hawker Typhoon IB

The Typhoon Mk.IB was armed with four 20 mm British Hispano Mk.I magazine-fed cannons, with 75 rounds each.. It was also fitted with either bomb racks for 250 or 500 lb bombs or rocker projectiles racks, carrying four rockets under each wing.

Typhoon Mk.IB

The Typhoon IB, affectionately known as the Tiffy, distinguished itself in the Battle of Normandy, where it decimated a large concentration of armor at Avranches, France, disposing of no fewer than 137 tanks and opening the way for the liberation of France and Belgium.
