Messerschmitt
Bf 109F-4

The Bf 109F was the best variant of the 109 produced. The square wing ends of earlier versions were replaced by rounded tips and the wing-mounted guns were dropped because they weakened the wings. The biggest improvement for the Bf 109F was the new DB 601E engine.
