North American Yale

The Museum's Yale served at No.1 SFTS Camp Borden, Ontario from 1940 to 1943. The aircraft was brought to flying condition after a 20 year restoration, It now displays the colors and markings it had at Camp Borden in 1940.

Yale (BT-9)

The North American Yale (BT-9) is an earlier fixed undercarriage version of the Harvard trainer. Ordered by the US Air Corps as its first modern trainer, it first flew in April 1936.
