Douglas C-47A  Dakota

This Dakota was built for the USAAF as 42-92489 and was transferred to the Royal Air Force in February 1944 and then to the Royal Canadian Air Force (437 Squadron) in September 1944. It was donated to the Museum by Environment Canada in 2014.

Dakota

This Dakota has a very significant history having flown in D-Day with the RAF as FZ692. It was named Kwicherbichen. This
C-47A was last operated by Environment Canada as a remote sensing aircraft.
