Super Cub

The IAF began using this light, two place Piper in the early 1960s. It replaced the Piper Cubs then in service and was used for reconnaissance and communications work. During the Six Day War the Super Cubs performed as forward reconnaissance aircraft. Today they are still used as trainers.
