Ezer Weizman died of pneumonia on 24 April 2005 at his home in Caesarea. He was 80. The photo in the upper right-hand corner is this Black Spit during a memorial flight to commemorate Weizman's death at the IAF Museum on 25 April 2005.

This is the famous "Black Spit" flown by Ezer Weisman during the War of Independence in 1948. It's in Flying Condition. Weisman retired from the IAF in 1969 with the rank of major-general and was elected as the seventh President of the State of Israel in 1992.
