Most of Israel's Spitfires were sold to Burma in 1954, but three remain at the IAF Museum.

Supermarine Spitfire IX (Yorek)
Scorpion Squadron

Israel's first two Spitfires were rebuilt British and Egyptian wrecks. Later, 60 more were purchased from Czechoslovakia and Italy. They served in the War of Independence and shot down 11 aircraft (including five British aircraft) with no losses.
