Reconnaissance Nose

Israel developed a removable nose section for the Mirage III and its successor, the Kfir, for photo reconnaissance work. These aircraft were well suited to the task because of their high speed and altitude capabilities. The special camera noses could house a variety of cameras, depending on mission requirements.
