These two Pratt & Whitney R-2800s produced 2,000 hp each and powered two 13 foot 6 inch diameter Curtiss Electric four blade propellers. Obviously they've seen better days.

After being smuggled into Palestine by the Haganah, C-46s were used to transport weapons and other aircraft from Czechoslovakia. After the War of Independence, they served as passenger aircraft for El Al and brought many olim into Israel from Yemen and Iraq in 1950-1951.
