North American P-51D Mustang

When the Americans liberated Holland in April, 1945, COL Duncan rejoined his Group. His decorations include a DSC, Silver Star, DFC with 7 OLC's, Air Medal with 3 OLC's, the French Croix de Guerre, and the British DFC.

P-51D Mustang

This P-51D is painted in the colors of Colonel Glenn E. Duncan's Dove of Peace. COL Duncan was C.O. of the 353rd Fighter Group and an ace with 19.5 kills. While flying a
P-47, he was shot down by German flak in western Germany on 7 July 1944. He walked to Holland and joined the Dutch Resistance.
