Sopwith Triplane

Early Sopwith Triplanes were powered by a nine-cylinder, 100 hp Clerget 9Z rotary engine, but most were fitted
with a 130 hp Clerget 9B rotary engine. Several companies built a total of 150 Triplanes. They saw service
beginning in June 1916.
