The RA-5C was an unarmed reconnaissance version of the A-5 with a large array of electronic and visual reconnaissance equipment.

The Vigilante is absolutely my favorite Navy aircraft. This one is painted in RVAH-12 markings that she had when on board USS America (CV-66). The A-5 Vigilante was the heaviest aircraft accepted for use aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers.
