Daimler-Benz
DB 605 Engine

The DB 605 engine was an improvement on the famed DB 601 and served the same main aircraft types as its predecessor: the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Bf 110. Introduced in 1942, it presented the fighters with more basic power, better altitude performance, and higher weight.
