Douglas DC-7BF

The DC-7B was externally identical to the DC-7, except for DC-7C style lengthened nacelles filled with fuel on Pan American and South African examples. It was very popular on overseas routes because of its extra fuel capacity.

Douglas DC-7BF

This is S/N 45403. She was in sorry shape, missing all four of her 3,250 hp R-3350 engines. She was built as a DC-7B in September 1966, and flew with Universal Airlines. In 1969, she was converted to the DC-7BF model. Douglas sold 112
DC-7Bs.
