The Yak-11 is an air-cooled, two-seat advanced trainer, liaison, utility aircraft developed from the Yak-3 in 1945. Many Yak-11s wetre still operational in the USSR in 1958. They were replaced by the Yak-11U, a tricycle-geared variation of the aircraft intended for training jet fighter pilots.
