North American QF-86H Sabre Drone

Since no warheads were fitted to the 'live-fire' missiles attempting to shoot down the Sabre drones, the drone aircraft could be flown again and again. One QF-86E survived 17 missile attacks.

QF-86H Sabre Drone

From 1974 to 1993 there were three  QF-86 Sabre variants, the QF-86E, H, and F. In total, over two hundred Sabres were involved. The drone Sabre 'live-fire' missions are flown NOLO (No Onboard Live Operator). This QF-86H Sabre was involved in GORJE (Generic Ordnance Ramjet Engine) and HARM missile tests at China Lake in 1975.
