Fernsehturm
This 368 meter high TV tower was built by the East Germans and contains an observation platform and a rotating restaurant. An unfortunate (for the Communists) consequence of the tiled, stainless steel dome is that a reflection, in the form of a cross, appears when the sun shines. The Communists denied it was a cross - claiming it was a big "plus sign" for Communism.
