Monument to Soviet Soldiers

This Monument to Soviet Soldiers, or Sowjetisches Ehrenmal, is just down the street from the Reichstag. It was built by the Soviets shortly after the capture of Berlin in 1945. The single central column has a bronze statue of a Soviet soldier.
