In German this memorial is called "Denkmal fur die ermordeten Juden Europas," or "Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe."
Holocaust Memorial
A subterranean information center (its entrance is within the fenced-off area at the center of this photo) displays stories of victims of the Nazi's "final solution." The information center is the only place within this "memorial" that has any context with the holocaust.
