Brandenburg Gate

The Brandenburg gate was was commissioned by Friedrich Wilhelm II to represent peace. It was completed in 1791 and was part of a wall surrounding Berlin during the Cold War. It originally served as the main entrance to the city and is the only remaining city gate.
