Leanach Cottage
Leanach Cottage is the only structure remaining from the Battle of Culloden. It was situated in between the Government lines and it is likely the building would have been used as a field hospital for the Government troops. Thatching on the cottage is made from heather that was collected from the battlefield and then crafted together by local tradesmen, while the walls are a mixture of stone and turf.
