Stonehenge sarsen stones

The upright sarsen stones (that form the outer circle) are each over ten feet tall and weigh 26 tons. The lintels weigh six tons each.

Stonehenge Sarsen Stones

Located at Salisbury in the southwest of England, Stonehenge is one of over 900 megalithic monuments built by the Neolithic people of Britain. It is mainly made up of thirty upright sarsen stones, in a circle, with thirty lintels laid atop the sarsens.
