Lake Kinneret
Bethsaida
Tell Bethsaida is located 1.5 km off the northern shore of Lake Kinneret. It is one of the largest artificial mounds found in Israel. It was probably the fortified city known as Zer mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. The town was located in the Biblical territory of Geshur.
