Hagana Square
This is Hagana Square with its prominent clock tower. The tower was built in 1906 by the Turkish Sultan, Abdul Hamid II, to commemorate his 30th anniversary as ruler. It is similar to other towers built at the same time for this same purpose in Jerusalem and Acco.
