Old Jaffa Archaeological Site
These are the walls of a building that was destroyed by fire. Nearby, an inscription was discovered that mentioned the name of Yehuda ben Tozomenos, who was Jaffa's agoranomos (official in charge of markets, weights, and measures) during the reign of Emperor Trajan (98-117 CE).
