Viper Type B Mine Clearing System
The Viper mine clearing system consists of a long hose filled with plastic explosive charges placed in a container mounted on a two wheeled trailer. The Viper is towed to its firing point near a minefield and fired electronically. The resulting blast can clear breaching lanes for assault forces.
