13 Pounder

This 13-pounder muzzleloading rifle weighed 896 pounds and was mounted on a wheeled R.C.D. (Royal Carriage Department) gun carriage from the 1890s. The British Royal Marine Artillery brought six of these 13-pounders to Victoria in 1893. When the British departed they were left behind. This may be the only remaining 13-pounder in Canada.
