Baring Falls drops about 25 feet. After tumbling off the rock ledge, Baring Creek continues to flow for another hundred yards or so before spilling into St. Mary Lake.

The trail to Baring Falls starts from Sunrift Gorge, located 9.9 miles west of the Saint Mary Entrance on the Going-To-The-Sun Road.
