Glacier Park LodgeSituated on the Blackfeet Reservation, the Glacier Park Lodge site was purchased from the Piegan, a tribe of the Blackfeet Nation. The Blackfeet named the new lodge “Omahkoyis” or  “Big Tree Lodge".

Glacier Park Lodge

The section of the Lodge containing the lobby and dining room was built in 1912-1913 and opened to guests on June 15, 1913.
