Hale Farm Reenactment and Encampment - August 9, 2014

Thousands of visitors and re-enactors attended Hale Farm & Village's annual Civil War reenactment on August 9 & 10. This is the largest annual Civil War reenactment in the state of Ohio and includes hundreds of re-enactors portraying both soldiers and civilians from the time period. This year they reenacted the Third Battle of Winchester, which took pace on 19 September 1864.

Ohio Civil War and Artillery Show - May 3, 2014

The Ohio Civil War and Artillery Show is held at the Richland County Fairgrounds, Mansfield, Ohio. This is Ohio’s only Civil War Collector’s Show. It has several hundred tables of Civil War military memorabilia for purchase, sale, trade, and display. There is also an Artillery Show that features about 30 full-size cannons, limbers, cassion, Gatling guns and mortars.
