No. 102 was donated to the National Railroad Museum by the Sumter & Choctaw Railroad in 1964.

Baldwin built this Mikado type (2-8-2) locomotive for the Sumter & Choctaw Railroad in 1924.
The museum has fitted a diesel engine to the tender of No. 102 so that it can haul trains, although not in steam.
