This Allison V-1710 was demonstrated by Allison Competition Engines of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. They specialize in rebuilding the V-1710. During the war, V-1710s were used in early P-51s, the Curtiss P-40, the Bell P-39, and the Lockheed P-38.
