Westland Lysander III

This Lysander was first flown on December 29, 1967.  It was donated to the Museum in September 1968 and was last flown in October 1970.

Lysander Mk.III

After 1940, British Lysanders were used for search-and-rescue, and unusual missions such as flying spies in and out of the continent. Canadian-built Lysanders were used chiefly as target tugs at Canadian bombing and gunnery schools.
