Imperial War Museum
The Imperial War Museum covers conflicts, focusing
on Britain and the Commonwealth, from the First World War to the
present day. It's located on Lambeth Road in London. Admission is
now free!
Mission statement: The national museum of twentieth century conflict. To record all conflicts in which British or Commonwealth forces have been involved since August 1914; all aspects of modern war and of the individual's experience of war, whether allied or enemy, service or civilian, military, military or political, social or cultural.
