Flat Face radar was the main surveillance and target acquisition radar used by the Iraqis. It was used with SA-3 and SA-6 missile area defense batteries and SA-8, Roland, ZSU-23-4P, SA-9 and SA-13 missile point defense batteries.

This P-15 Flat Face long-range surveillance and target acquisition radar was mounted on a Soviet ZiL-157 6x6 truck. To the right in this photo is a SA-3. The SA-3 is a medium altitude two stage surface to air missile dependent on radio command guidance for tracking.
