Handley Page Halifax NA 337

When NA337 crashed about a kilometer from shore, the tail section with Flight Seargent Thomas Weightman broke off. Weightman managed to deploy the life raft, but it inflated upside-down. Still he managed to get on the raft. The rest of the crew probably tried to swim to shore, but died of hypothermia in the cold lake water.
