The plaque reads, "In memory of the seven flowers that were cut at the Island of Peace."
Memorial Garden
Seven school girls, aged 13-14, are pictured here, along with a brief background on each. They were murdered on 13 March 1997. Ironically they were on a class trip to this location because of its symbolism and the hope for peace with Israel's neighbors. The place is Naharaim - the Island of Peace.
