V-1 Flying Bomb

The Farley Mowat's team procured this piloted V-1 Fi103 R-IV Reichenberg in Dannenburg, Germany. Most V-1s were unmanned, but Mowat wrote in his memoir that this one was "equipped to enable a pilot to fly it on a suicide mission against Allied ships in the [English] Channel. Real kamikaze stuff!" This example is currently under restoration. The piloted V-1 was never used in combat.
