During an emergency, any medical services needed in the bunker would have been provided independent of outside help. In the event of a crisis, staff had just passed through the decontamination chamber would make their way to the Health Center immediately for a radiation and health check. When the bunker was fully manned for war this facility would be staffed with medical personnel from the National Defense Medical Center in Ottawa.
