Nob Hill
In the 1920s, the U.S. Navy was building up its Naval Air Station on Ford Island. As part of this growth, in 1922 the Navy began construction on the north end of the island for three married officers’ homes. In 1936, sixteen additional houses were built in the Nob Hill neighborhood.
