USS Arizona Marker
Of the nine battleships sunk or beached on December 7th, six were returned to service. The Arizona and Utah are now memorials on Ford Island. The Oklahoma was refloated in November 1943 but capsized and lost while under tow to the mainland May 1947.
In the background is one of the restored Nob Hill officer’s homes located on Ford Island.
