USS Missouri (BB-63)
USS Missouri is an Iowa-class battleship. She was ordered in 1940 and commissioned in June 1944. She was mothballed in 1955, but reactivated and modernized in 1984 as part of the 600-ship Navy plan, and provided fire support during Operation Desert Storm in January/February 1991.
For comparison, the USS Arizona's displacement was 29,626 tons with a top speed of 21 knots and a range of 9,200 miles. The Missouri displaced 45,000 tons with a speed of 32.7 knots and a range of 14,890 miles.
